History of institute :

A group of physicians from Punarvasu Chikitsalaya, mostly functioning in clinical field, started academic work from 2000. Initially it was much unorganized and volunteered by many vaidyas. It began with “PG entrance coching classes” in June 2002. A seminar on “Critical and Indoor Care in Ayurveda”  conducted in August 2004. This was actually a beginning of an organized functioning in academic field of Ayurveda.  A three monthly magazine “Ayurvishwa” was started from August 2004. All the functionalities running informally by this group were shifted to registered charitable trust “Global ayurveda foundation”.

Our Vision And Mission:

Vision:

To propagate pure ayurveda for the benefit of society.  To train ayurveda scholar and also the society, to such a confident level that they will use ayurveda for their own and social  benefit. An authentic study form original ayurveda books and its clinical interpretations along with actual practice will be the only way for making of an ayurveda physician.
 
Mission:

To establish ayurveda as a main stream medicine.  To link prevailing ayurveda practice with its original texts.

We are one of the few institutes which formally trains in pure ayurveda practice. All of our teachers are pure ayurveda practioners. We are trainer in  ;

• All aspects of ayurveda, Reading and understanding of original ayurveda books (samhitas),
• Diagnostic methodology of  ayurveda,
• All clinical procedures including panchkarma, 
• Preparation for Examinations of various universities all over india and
• Paramedical training for Ayurveda  IPD and Procedures.
