I joined Punarvasu family in 2012 by PGDPC course, since then it has become a Very Important part of my Life.
The PGDPC course which I joined is really worthy as it helps in producing efficient & confident ayurvedic physician. Punarvasu does not compromise with the fundamental principals of Ayurveda.
Its ethical knowledge has inspired all those who are connected with it.
It fulfills the very need of comman people in day today life to help them keep healthy.
There is no denying of the fact that it has truly Enlightend its followers.
I feel proud to be the part of this organization and I am sure that every student shares my view.

Those 16 months in Punarvasu ayurved chikitsalaya,Pune have been the most important of my career to date.This experience enriched me beyond what i believed possible.Thanks to the high quality of ethical education of ayurved chikitsa & panchkarma.Here they taught me the proper way of learning and how to think critically.One more important thing they give us is the Visualization towards Ayurveda. The course was both challenging and rewarding. It was very practical and related theory to practice in a meaningful way which has encouraged continuous reflection, evaluation,improvement in my practice. The quality of lecturers,vaidyas surpassed my expectations. In the Punarvasu PGDPC every student is pushed hard, encouraged to contribute and expected to deliver at a very high standard. I came in contact with Punarvasu family after taking admission to PGDPC in August 2010. I was not sure to do what ?... until my internship in college, but sure not going to do an Allopathy practice. I was naturally having a feeling of doing Ayurved Practice. But I was not known about any path to learn it. So I came to Pune and was taking advice from many seniors about where to start from. Surprisingly…I was getting 50-50% opinions about all practitioners and institutes. That is like…Everything has some positive and negative points but ultimately you have to choose by your instinct. Many students like me…especially who were not in colleges from Pune and Mumbai(where there is some culture of doing Ayurved Practice). I was literally like zero when came to Pune for learning ABCD of Ayurved. I decided to join PunarvasuPrabodhini. I was very excited and zero. So I knew that whatever I am going to learn from here will be a jackpot for me. Just after the first lecture of PGDPC was over…I was pretty sure that I made the right choice and I was just in an environment I wished to be in to learn what is right and authentic. I never knew what I wanted…because I wanted everything and they gave there everything.Punarvasu not only teach me what is Ayurved but they teach me…”WHY AYURVED”. Like from finding causes of disease, to understand the stages of pathology(samprapti), making a provisional diagnosis and differential diagnosis and then to fix your upakramas. This was not at all done by me when I was learning there. But as I started my own practice…I naturally got this tendency of doing all this because that is what I learned in Punarvasu. As per as theoretical part was concerned…It depends on individuals of how hard they study. But as per as practical part…I was literally learned as many procedures as I can which I never saw before. All the procedures I practiced in Punarvasu gave me a sense of confidence that Ayurved really is a magical therapy, because I saw the results on patients. I saw that by giving authentic(granthokta) panchakarma treatment. There are very less institutes which prefers to give authentic treatments equally as improvised andformula treatments. What I learned from Punarvasu is not just about doing Ayurved practice but… how to do it…and… why to do it !!! |

The me, before and after the Punarvasu PGDPC course, I could clearly feel the difference in me. I was completely transformed after the course and now feel very confident about my knowledge on Ayurveda.
I completed PGDPC course last year. I found that confidence you need to start the practice after completing this course. Punarvasu had taught us Tika Vachan which helps in studying the Grantha's in more details and understand what Granthkar wants tell us. This also helps in great deal while doing Chikitsa.
We also got to work on a thesis (compilation work) named Shak Kalpana. As a part of this, we prepared dirrent types of spices which are mentioned in Grantha's. It was a wonderful experience working on Shak preparation.
We also got to learn different types of Karma's and applied them on patients during houseman-ship. Aatyayik Chikitsa was something which was completely new to me I got to learn in Punarvasu.
Everybody in Punarvasu were so helpful and supportive and were always ready to answer any query students had.
There is so much to write about Punarvasu but it is difficult to express it here in just few words.
I am very thankful to all Vaidya's of Punarvasu who turned the doctors in us into the Vaidya's. And special thanks to Vaidya Galgali Sir and Vaidya Galgali Mam for their guidance during my time at Punarvasu.

I was looking for an Ayuvedic education that was truly authentic and that would provide an accelerated training to allow me to transition from my existing career into starting my own Ayurvedic practice. I was in my 40s, married, with many work and family commitments, and with a burning passion for learning Ayurveda and I needed to find a course that would allow me to study while fulfilling my other commitments.
