  • Articles dealing with topics relevant to study, research or training in accordance with the principles of ‘Shuddha Ayurveda’ only shall be considered for publication in JSAP.
  • Articles under the heads of all the subjects such as ayurveda mulbhuta siddhanta, rog nidaan, kaaya chikitsaa, panchakarma, dravyaguna shastra, rasa shastra, bhaishajya kalpana, swasthavrutta, and agada tantra etc. shall be considered for publication.
  • Manuscripts submitted to JSAP, as a rule, should not be under consideration, accepted or published elsewhere in any other scientific journal. Reviewers are requested to kindly bring any such cases of duplicate submissions to the notice of the editorial staff.
  • Authors may submit articles already published in regional languages after due translation into Hindi, Marathi or English language. Prior permission for publication from the concerned author/ journal where the article has already been published is the responsibility of the author.
  • It is implied that the content and data described in the manuscript submitted to JSAP would be freely available to any individual wishing to use it for non-commercial purposes.

AUTHORSHIP CRITERIA AND CONTRIBUTION DETAILS

  • It is expected that the article submitted to JSAP is written by a registered Ayurvedic physician, following the principles of ‘Shuddha Ayurveda’ in practice.
  • General supervision of the research group, participation solely in the acquisition of funding or holding a position of authority in the institute where the research is conducted does not justify the authorship for any article.
  • The order of contributors/ author’s name is based on their relative contribution to the study and design of the manuscript, and the same cannot be changed without written consent of all contributors.
  • The author corresponding with the journal shall take the responsibility for the integrity of the work from its inception to publication and shall thereby be designated as ‘guarantor’.

Articles will be considered for publication only after the submission of detailed information about each of the contributors in the first page file, along with a consolidated copyright form duly signed by all the authors.

CONFLICTS OF INTEREST/ COMPETING INTERESTS

  • The corresponding author is requested to submit a declaration of competing interests on behalf of all the authors.
  • In case the authors do not have any competing interests, the same should be declared in the first page file during submission.
