PREPARATION AND SUBMISSION OF MANUSCRIPTS

Manuscripts for all sections need to be prepared in two separate files – ‘First page file’ and ‘Article file’.

First Page file - The first page file should be prepared according to the ‘Guideline template’ and reveal all the information and identity of the author(s). The first page file also includes covering letter, information of all authors including current affiliations, acknowledgements and declaration of conflicts of interest. Guideline template for the first page file is provided for download from the journal website. Acknowledgements, if any, should include technical help, financial and material support and contributions that do not justify authorship such as general support from the chair of a college/ research institution. Maximum size for the ‘First page’ file should not exceed 1MB (1024KB).

Article file – The article file is the main content page of the manuscript. The articles submitted to JSAP undergo a blind review and hence the article file should not reveal identity of author(s) by any means which directly or indirectly.

Authors are advised to prepare manuscripts as per the ‘Guidelines for authors’ provided on journal website. Photographs, images and figures should be uploaded separately as a different file and not as a part of the article file. 

The maximum size for the article file should not exceed 1MB (1024KB).

The authors are requested not to zip any of the files together.

 

CHARGES FOR SUBMISSION OF MANUSCRIPT, PROCESSING AND PUBLICATION –

JSAP does not charge for the submission, processing or the publication of articles.

REPRINTS –

Reprints for the articles published will be duly charged. Charges have to be paid after receiving letter of acceptance of the article for publication.
